Willy Crook, en sus jóvenes 55 años, contaba con una inmensa trayectoria que inició en 1982 junto a Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota. También tocó junto a Charly García, Los Abuelos de la Nada, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Sumo, Los Gardelitos, Virus, Riff, Memphis la Blusera, Andrés Calamaro, Gillespi, entre muchos otros.
Formó los Funky Torinos en 1997 y juntos editaron doce discos.
Pisó escenarios junto a artistas internacionales como Dermis Tatú, Los Toreros Muertos, Gotan Project, Alvin Lee, Echo & The Bunnymen o Rita Marley.
